An alternative to the GoPro media mod. It is a good purchase because it is economical, plastic so lightweight, has slots for accessories (lens, microphone, etc.), lens protection cap, additional adapter for a larger lens. The only somewhat negative aspect is the base that connects to the tripod, it is a bit tight and struggles a bit when screwing it in.
P.S. To use an external microphone, you need the mic adapter. If you already have it, go for this solution and it works great. If you don't have it, consider the media mod because the price is close.
