I use it to get a better signal throughout the house and indeed I do, the distance from the router is about 6-7 meters and it doesn't lag at all.. I definitely recommend it.

This is the best price/performance device I was able to find for my particular purpose. I already have a Vodafone modem for the internet, but I needed an extender to transmit the signal to rooms with low signal. This device worked great. 5ghz signal is also strong. It can either diffuse the internet coming from the Ethernet cable (access point) or mirror a Wifi signal (Wifi Extender).
I received it a little while ago, it connected immediately and on the lower floor I now have full signal. Time will tell about durability, but first impression is very good
Very good. Connected to the router with WPS in record time. Works perfectly on both 2.4 and 5 GHz. Has a very good range. I had an issue in the back rooms of the house. Now I have a strong wifi signal everywhere. I didn't use the tether app. I will install it to see what options I have through it. For now, satisfied.
Very easy setup and the application has countless things you can do with the wifi. In my own space, despite trying several angles, unfortunately, it does not have such a great range. The only reason for 4/5.

I really found my peace. I had a cheap Xiaomi one, always had problems, losing signal for no reason, constantly restarting. As soon as I got this one, I realized what tplink means. I get 50mbps download, 20 upload, and 5 ping. Can you believe it? It actually reaches those speeds, and I haven't even connected it via ethernet yet. It's probably going to be really good. Get it without hesitation, you won't regret it
In 3 months of operation, it has lost connection with the router only once. Particularly satisfactory and stable operation despite being quite far away from the router and with many obstacles in between.
I use it for close range home use in an 80sqm house, and at one end, the router had no signal. I placed it somewhere in the middle and solved the problem. Very easy to install and it hasn't bothered me at all since I installed it (about 3 months ago). I am very satisfied with its use for smart TVs and mobile phones.
I bought this product to replace a similar TP-LINK WiFi Extender that I had and stopped working (disconnected from the router and never connected again) after a few years of use.
The connection to the router was very fast (both on 2.4 and 5 GHz) through the Tether application. Its range is very good. I use it on the upper floor of a maisonette with the router located on the lower floor. I have placed it directly into a socket in a room and I have internet throughout the floor, even with a closed door in the room. With the previous TP-LINK I had, in order to have a good signal on the floor, I had a power strip with a cable and essentially had the extender connected as close to the staircase as possible, otherwise it wouldn't catch a signal from the ground floor. This is no longer necessary.
Therefore, I am completely satisfied with my purchase.
