It has very good sound but its bass is not of good quality, it seems to deepen the sound rather than enhance it. Also, if the battery drops below 80%, it lowers the volume and I spent an hour the other day trying to figure out what was wrong. It's a shame because it is a brand name. Get something else.
Where it was working, it suddenly stopped... I made a return request... it doesn't turn on, it doesn't charge... I hope it gets replaced.
I use it indoors, on the balcony, in the kitchen, when I read, everywhere at a relatively low volume. It connects directly and reliably, it is of high quality, and I consider it an excellent purchase!
It's not a bad speaker, it has very quality clear sound and bass but for its price you can find better. I got it based on the reviews and the 5w it offers but its volume is really disappointing. For example: in a car with closed windows at max volume, both the back and front passengers could barely hear it, not to mention a beach with 5-6 people. I was really disappointed.
3 stars because you pay for the brand, not that it's not quality and all that, it's just that in terms of intensity, it's for a room in a house, don't try to buy it to play in an open space or in a larger room. While on android easily connect 2 speakers in stereo pairing, on win 10 not only do not work (lenovo ryzen 7, 1 year old) but not even one connects. The reason was some bluetooth windows services that needed activation and setting to auto, but after they connected they are recognized as earphones and only one plays (although they are paired) in mono sound. While they are recognized as speakers, the option cannot be activated in the sound settings due to lack of drivers. In general, there are many issues on windows and Sony simply does not care to release any drivers, as they are mainly intended for mobile devices. It's a shame, they have good sound and quality construction. If there is any progress on this particular connectivity, I will update. Purchase date 20/06/24.
It does not lack in bass as the description says, it has good sound like bass, the only thing is that it does not connect to older devices like the redme8 which does not see it at all
At first, I didn't want to get this particular one as it seemed bulky and difficult to transport due to its shape - I wanted something more portable. However, I chose it because of its price.
In the end, it is quite easy to transport as it is not very big, and for its size, it has incredible sound! Very powerful bass (which I read about but didn't expect it to be so good!) and clear sound that you don't often see at such prices and sizes. I now take it everywhere. The strap it includes for hanging is very useful for its transportation too...!
Another surprise was the very small delay it has in the sound, which helps a lot in video playback! With other speakers (even from good brands) you can't watch videos... even though their marketing often suggests them specifically for video playback! Here it has a very small delay but it is so minimal that you get used to it in a minute...!
Overall, very satisfied. The only downside for me is that it has a very bad microphone and for some reason, it has poor sound quality in calls (I don't know why there is such a difference since both information is transmitted via Bluetooth) which I don't consider ideal for such use so it's a minor issue. Perhaps if it also accepted a Jack for wired use, it would be the ideal speaker of its size.
I have nothing negative to write about this speaker.
The sound has depth and gradation, the bass is very good for its size, the volume ranges from very low to quite high, it does not reach the point where other market speakers destroy what you hear to be very loud at 5W.
If someone wants a very powerful speaker with such quality, I don't think they have the illusion that it will cost them only €37.
And very impressive in terms of appearance, friends who saw and heard it thought it was in the price category of €70-80.
I have the xb 10 2 pieces for several years and they still work perfectly, despite many hardships. I bought one piece 13 and after a few days I bought another one. Sony's build quality is impeccable, for their size the sound is high quality and clear, the bass is many levels above the xb 10. As for water resistance, there's no discussion, it's like it hasn't even been wet. It handles sound and function well.
I bought it yesterday. I was torn between this and the JBL Go 3. Having knowledge about what both companies produce, I consciously chose SONY for its design, superior construction quality, and the sound result which, for me, is better than JBL in this category.
Very good quality construction and beautiful speaker. The sound is very good in all genres of music but the volume is, in my personal opinion, a little low. I would like a bit more volume. Really, when you have it at 10%, 20%, 30%, you can't hear it. Even at night, on the nightstand next to your ear, the sound starts to be audible after 40%. But when it exceeds half of its volume and especially close to 70% to 80%, the speaker starts to come alive and produces beautiful and high-quality sound. It performs well in all frequencies and does not lack in bass. Although quite expensive, I consider it to be one of the best Bluetooth speakers currently available on the market.
I bought the speaker in September, I read that it is good. I used to have the Go 3, but my sister took it and she liked it, so I got the Sony XB13. The speaker has low sound and the quality is somewhat bass-heavy, very good, actually. But in some songs, it sounds a bit off. If you asked me to get another one, I would go for the JBL Flip 6. I think for €45, get the Go 3, or if you have €150, get the Flip 6.
The best speaker I have ever heard. Quality sound across all frequencies. At a low volume, of course, for close listening.
Very powerful, I bought it to listen to music on my scooter, it sounds very good up to 110, in the city you have to lower it because it makes a lot of noise, very good overall...

It continues to be very powerful, very resistant to water and falls but... 1- as soon as it goes to 20% it lowers the volume so you can no longer hear the music and 2- the battery, for this 80% that is useful with full volume, lasts only 3 hours at most... Disappointing because it falls far short of the advertised performance.
The best portable speaker! Lightweight, very good and powerful sound. It connects immediately and is very easy to carry as it is small. Ideal for trips and home terraces. It is durable as it is made of very good material (it has fallen from tables and has not suffered anything). It is definitely worth its money.
Very good speaker. Speaking in musical terms, monophonic sound is a difficult matter, as well as the small size (less bass). I feel that it covers almost all musical sounds (not all bass, depending on the genre of music). It connects easily with my mobile phone, but not with my computer, which has Windows 11.
The worst thing out there. Very low volume, minimal highs and almost no bass. I fell for it again based on the comments
3 because it is generally a good speaker. BUT its "predecessor" SRXXB10 - which was the reason I bought it - is of higher class. I was deceived! T_T This one is SBC while the previous one was AAC (it shows on the Bluetooth when connected). Somewhere, guys, write it in the descriptions, what a shame! It does NOT have strong bass.
Generally, very nice sound, the color is WONDERFUL exactly as in the photo. It was purchased at a price of 42.80€, which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Very good speaker to take with you, what others say is true, you should get 2 for stereo sound but I chose to get one soundcore 3 because it's better to carry one speaker instead of two and charge two, etc.
Very good speaker... I have tried many, it really worth its money! Clean sound and battery lasts for more than 10 hours at full volume... with moderate volume, it lasts for over 15 hours... if you find it close to 40 euros, it's value for money... it's slightly smaller than a coffee cup... you won't believe that such a small thing makes so much noise...
At 35€ it's a great deal. You get 2 and have stereo sound. It's waterproof and sandproof. Until halfway volume, it may seem quiet. From there and above, it gives it all. Clear sound and powerful for its size (don't think you'll go deaf though). Battery is very good... for the beach or the seaside taverna, it's just what you need
Just got it and the first impressions are positive, it's made of plastic but beautiful, very good bass for its size and you can comfortably listen to music with good volume, I think it's a very good purchase for its price.
It was purchased today in exchange for the 2nd JBL GO3 due to my mistake that the go3 has pairing capability. Compared to the go3, the only thing it surpasses is battery life, pairing, and being hands-free. In my opinion, the go3 has more intensity and bass than the SONY, both at low volume and not at the middle of the intensity. The best thing for anyone interested is to listen to them first before making a purchase.
Being the owner of the SRS-XB10 which had THE SOUND for the money it asked for, this particular speaker is worth it and more. I have tried it indoors and outdoors and it performs very well in both! As for the battery, let me tell you that it lasts even more than 16 hours. not in comparison to jbl go 2-3 which don't even last 3 hours at medium volume. HURRY UP AND GET IT!
Being the owner of the srs-xb10, I have to say that the srs-xb13 is slightly larger in size, has a better battery, a much better strap, meaning that I was afraid the 10's strap would break while the 13's is very sturdy, obviously has more modern software than the previous generation, the only thing I'm not 100% satisfied with is the sound volume, I expected something louder from Sony, and something that actually disappoints me is that I can't wirelessly connect one speaker to another, I can connect an srs-xb10 to another srs-xb10, I can connect an srs-xb13 to another srs-xb13, now why I can't connect an srs-xb10 to an srs-xb13, no one knows... For me, it's really bad that the previous generation can't communicate with the new one and I can't find any particular reason for this, nevertheless, it's a very good speaker and I recommend it for home use or for someone who wants to listen to music outside but doesn't want to carry very large speakers with them.
As long as the volume setting is below 50%, the sound produced is relatively weak. It is sufficient only for a small, enclosed space, without other sources of noise. However, after half of the volume, things change significantly: the speaker becomes much more responsive and the sound strengthens with greater progress. In an open space (park), with the volume at around 80%, people could pleasantly and clearly hear the music within a radius of 5-7 meters. Of course, it is not suitable for parties, but that is not the goal of the speaker. In summary, the sensitivity of the speaker is not linear, after half of the volume it starts to "come alive". Personally, I find this positive because it ensures (to some extent) that the speaker does not reach full volume and the sound does not become distorted.
In terms of frequency response, it is quite lively, but with "sweet" highs that are not bothersome. Clear sound, in most genres of music, with an apparent (and pleasant) neutrality, a characteristic of Sony. Do not expect the "wild" midrange and highs of speakers from other brands, which are targeted for party situations.
Regarding bass, it is decent at all volumes and with most genres of music (dance, pop, metal). In extremely low bass (for example, trap productions), the speaker cannot reproduce sound from certain Hz and below, but we are always talking about frequencies that are intended for reproduction by subwoofers...
The user interface (operation, connectivity) is the best I have encountered so far: simple, minimalistic, fast. Very well-designed to make its use easy. It has large buttons, few and multifunctional, small LED indicators, overall very user-friendly.
The strap is of good quality and useful, the speaker in general is lightweight and appears sturdy. I have not tested its water resistance.
Finally, the charging port is not the same as the universal one that many devices have (Android phones, tablets, etc.), so a little extra attention is needed not to lose the charging cable.
In conclusion, for its category, the very small Bluetooth speakers, it is a very good purchase: exceptional sound, non-linear but ultimately high volume, more than sufficient, fantastic, simple user interface, good build quality (with a metal speaker grille). In its category, there are cheaper options, but time will tell if it ultimately wins its value with its overall quality. For now, I find it to be the best value for money.
From the best purchases .....!!! Clean, powerful sound, perfect bass ... no negatives .. I ordered a second one for surround effect ...
