Let's start with the positives.
a. The arm has a very good clip and satisfactory length, and it can also hold a weight greater than the microphone.
b. The pop filter that comes with it is satisfactory as it effectively cuts out the "pops" of air hitting the microphone.
c. The preamp that comes with it is okay, it doesn't produce hum or noise.
Now let's move on to the negatives.
a. The microphone is terrible. It does not have cardioid isolation in any way (unless they consider a 3-4 meter field cardioid!) resulting in it picking up a very large part of the space regardless of insulation.
b. The microphone had grounding hum, which after checking was due to a bad connection from the capsule to the board. I had to disassemble the microphone and redo the soldering as they were all "cold solder joints" (for those who know), and the bad connection allowed current to pass into the microphone's shell. If someone does NOT know how to do this and has this problem, then they will have wasted their money.
c. The cable that accompanied it is mediocre (neither good nor bad), and its fit with the microphone is not perfect resulting in it "playing" a bit (maybe a thicker rubber ring would help there).
For the 60 euros I paid, I would say it is a bit overpriced, as the microphone is practically useless, while all the accessories that can be used can be found for 30-40 euros.
Very good sound, very good construction for its price, I didn't expect it!
Also, the cable it comes with is very long and reinforced as if it is for a studio.
Very good purchase, recommended!
It has a very clear voice sound. My son uses it for gaming and to make videos on YouTube where he speaks. I have an issue that you have to speak very close to it for the recording to be possible. Maybe it's because of the 14-year-old sound card on the motherboard. Maybe with newer sound cards, things will be better. Anyway, my son says that on OBS and YouTube, it's 100 times better than the headset microphone (turbo X) he had. We don't use any application. We have it directly as it plays with Windows.
Edit - October 2022. Corrected.
After a little troubleshooting, after noticing that it played better without its amplifier, I realized that one cable had a problem. I carefully unscrewed its end, checked the connections well, and screwed it back on. The problems were solved. It probably didn't make a good contact, and I fixed it with the check I did. Now it plays loudly and clearly without having to speak very close to it.
Excellent value for money.
