I don't have enough reasons to give this product less than 5 stars. For 40€, you get an LED light with a wireless remote that changes color and intensity - what more could you ask for? Overall, Xiaomi has done an excellent job with this product, as evidenced by the quality that is apparent from the moment you open the box. However, it's important to note that this light is purely for illuminating your desk and nothing else - it won't light up the entire room.
Pros:
- Impeccable quality all around
- Wireless remote for on/off and adjusting intensity and color (white/yellow)
- The lighting is just right - it won't glare on your screen and the LEDs aren't noticeable to the naked eye. I sit 15cm below the lamp and can't see them at all to avoid glare. Additionally, this can be adjusted because the lamp contacts are magnetic and can rotate 25 degrees towards or away from the screen.
- Comes with a long USB cable, which I plugged into a power strip and it works perfectly.
Cons:
- If you have a monitor that isn't flat but has a curve (like my Samsung S27H850QFU), the base may be difficult to adjust because it doesn't open up much, so it won't sit properly. Instead, it will sit at an angle (I'll upload a photo so you can see).
- This leads to the second problem when the monitor doesn't have a frame at the top. Because the base was at an angle due to the previous issue, it caused the base to press on the pixels on the screen and cover some of them. Again, there are solutions, but they require some creativity...

I bought it mostly out of curiosity for the screen at home where I work half the days. I didn't believe it would be so convenient for me and make the hours on the screen so much more comfortable. It also has the extra stylish remote for light intensity and the option to play in warm-cool which elevates it. A very good purchase out of nowhere.

Now, for durability, time will tell!

After 1 year of use, I haven't needed to change the batteries in the wireless remote yet. If I can find a negative, it's that I would have liked the remote to have more weight and a better anti-slip base, because it slides on the surface of the desk when I use it. Also, I have caught myself wanting 1 click lower brightness sometimes, but we're talking about details that I would expect in much more expensive products. Here I just mention them for informational purposes.

"Stylish", it doesn't bother the light on the screen, with adjustable brightness and light color depending on what looks good to your eye. You save space on the desk since you don't need the classic lamp, and the wireless switch allows you to have it in another part of the room like on the nightstand. However, it really makes a big difference the light it casts as a frame in front of the screen and incredibly relaxes the eyes. You get up from the computer 6 hours later and there is a big difference. I have seen such a significant improvement during use that I am already considering more expensive similar products if they have something more to offer (beyond the brand that justifies an additional cost).
As for the positives that others have mentioned, I don't know if I need to elaborate. Sturdy and quality construction, the ability to power through the screen with a USB cable that you can easily hide, wireless control with a dimmer that has incredible response (which doesn't need any setup, connects/works directly, and takes batteries).

However, personally, I found it difficult to attach it to the Samsung Viewfinity S6 (ultrawide 34" curved). More specifically, I couldn't secure it as I should have, and I placed it in the "gap" on the screen where the pop-up camera comes out.
Otherwise, perfect quality, with adjustable brightness, across the entire spectrum of white (warm -> cold).

I am returning after a few months of using the product. As I mentioned earlier, there was an issue with my screen (which I explain in the text above). This resulted in me not being able to use the light bar to its full potential, as sometimes the light would shine directly into my eyes. Looking a bit on the internet, I found a mod that I was skeptical about applying (https://imgur.com/a/OJ54jnY).
In the end, I applied it, and I really don't understand why I didn't do it sooner.
