    Very good construction, it doesn't break no matter how the cat climbs on it. The toy it has hasn't been cut as I feared, it is well made and even if it manages to break it, there is a replacement to put.     I have two small kittens that are 2 months old. At first, they were very scared and wouldn't sit when I put them on it or couldn't get down, so I let them figure it out on their own. After 2 days, I found them sitting together on the middle level with the little house and they looked very comfortable. They still haven't gone up top, but I believe they will manage it slowly! The construction is good and stable and the assembly was quite easy.

    Update 3 months later: the scratching post is now the favorite place for the cats in the house, both for playing and for sleeping :)

    Update 2 years: the scratching post continues to hold up and both of them use it fully!
