Eating slower is partially achieved by the dog. Maybe because mine is small and his snout fits more easily into the folds. Anyway, he definitely eats slower compared to how quickly he consumed food with a regular bowl. Good durable construction. For food only. Not for water.

It is nice for a food container. Not so functional though, as its purpose is to make a greedy dog eat more slowly and this is not achieved. Nevertheless, it is made of good material, has a non-slip rubber underneath, and a handle for easy lifting.

First time using such a bowl for my dog who eats very quickly and the truth is that now he eats more slowly. (only in this specific bowl, not in general.) I would recommend it.
