The beep it has is faint - but you can also see the light.
The flashlight it has is satisfactory.
The battery cover at the back has the known problem of not making good contact with the side part of the battery, you need to close it tightly or put some aluminum foil.
It is definitely well-made, heavy, and looks high-quality.
It does not detect anything significant on walls - the circuit must be closed and voltage must pass through to find something.
It also has two levels of current detection - it starts from 12 volts or from 90 volts. At 12 volts, you can even detect USB.
And the closer you are to the source, the higher the frequency it detects.
It is 100% better to have such a tool for testing - or one like the UT18C (or even both)
