The Viltrox AF 85mm f/1.8 XF II stands out for its updated, more elegant, and lighter design. It is the second generation of this portrait-length prime designed for Fujifilm's X-mount mirrorless cameras.

The lens's short telephoto focal length pairs with the bright f/1.8 design, suitable for working in various lighting conditions, as well as for depth of field control and subject isolation.

The optical design includes:

• One extra-low dispersion element
• One aspherical element
• Four elements made from highly transparent glass

These help to reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations, achieving high sharpness and clarity. An HD Nano multi-layer coating has been applied to suppress flare and ghosting, enhancing contrast in strong lighting conditions.

Additionally, the lens features an STM motor for fast, silent autofocus performance, with a minimum focusing distance of 80cm for working with close-up subjects.
