    The main reason I got it was to support my phone on the magnetic mount in my car, but unfortunately, it doesn't magnetize enough to keep the phone stable on the magnetic base. With the slightest bump, the phone falls off. With the old one, my phone stuck to the base and didn't move at all. I do not recommend it... it is not suitable for a magnetic base at all. Also, the support is not very stable.
    Update: 08/21/24 and the gold started to fade.
