Semi-automatic machine A1 for espresso coffee, by Briel. The coffee supply is made with ground espresso, at the grind size you desire. This way, you determine the amount of coffee placed in the portafilter of the specially designed handle, and press the start button to begin the extraction process. Naturally, each time you make coffee, the portafilter should be cleaned to be ready for the next use. It is a suitable choice for individuals interested in experimenting to achieve the taste and texture they desire.
It has 1000 Watt power, and it takes a little time for the water to heat up to create the coffee. Usually, from around 1100 Watts and above, it is a device that heats the water quickly. The water tank is removable, offering easy filling and cleaning, and has a capacity of 1.5 liters. This means it can make up to approximately 25 single cups of hot espresso coffee before needing to be refilled. Additionally, thanks to the frother, you can manually mix steam and milk to create foam with the ideal density for your preferred milk beverage, such as cappuccino or latte. Finally, the pressure exerted by the boiler on the coffee to achieve extraction corresponds to 20 bar. The usual recommended values for a rich and creamy espresso are from 9 bar and above.

Excellent machine for its price. Very good coffee and froth milk.
The quality of the plastics is moderately good.
I give it four stars because the on-off switch broke for the second time and I have to send it back to the dealership, which is a hassle. (communicate, pack, send, be without a coffee maker for a period of time, etc.)
I bought it about 6 months ago. The machine makes good coffee and froth milk.
The problem is the after sales support. The switch on the back of the machine broke, making it difficult for me to open and close it easily. I have sent emails to both the representative in Greece and the headquarters in Portugal asking how I can buy a new switch. I haven't received any response. It's a shame because a small damage can render the machine useless.
Very good for its price and good coffee.
On the negative side, it is not sturdy with a lot of plastic on the outside and it needs a little "force" to close the latch.
The machine is great for home use. It has a stainless steel boiler, which is essential for the taste of the coffee and for preventing the accumulation of salts. It does not have an aluminum thermoblock, which most home machines have. The portafilter and the baskets are of good quality, although it can be a bit tricky to remove the coffee puck without the basket falling into the trash bin. With the pressurized portafilter, anyone can make a coffee at home without much effort, knowledge, or a grinder. That's why the basket has an extraction adjustment screw. If you buy pre-ground coffee from a supermarket, for example, and you want a quick extraction, you can tighten the screw a bit and vice versa. Download the instructions from the company in Greek, where all of this is explained. Happy holidays!
The machine makes good coffee as well as frothed milk, and its use is easily learned. The only thing I had to pay attention to a little is when I put the coffee and press it to be as uniformly flat as possible so that the flow is the same from both outlets (when I was making two cups simultaneously, for example). I am very satisfied.
For its price, it is quite decent although I don't get along well with the pressurized baskets. I have tried using a naked one by one and the coffee is always satisfactory for its price, and it heats up quite quickly. The milk frother is a breeze with very good pressure and it holds up to 500 ml of milk. Internally, it is quite well-made, plus it comes with a 10-year warranty.
As for the negatives, I will only mention that it has a lot of plastic on the outside and it takes a little "effort" to latch the closure
Simply awesome machine, you can make professional coffee at home. Also, very good service. I wanted some information and sent an email, the company contacted me immediately, very polite. It's worth the money, I highly recommend it without hesitation.
Better than I expected. Finally, the boiler must make the difference. The uniform temperature it provides during extraction helps in the taste of the coffee but also in the crema, which is impressive. The frothing is also very easy and with excellent results.
Although I have only tried ground coffees so far, the difference is noticeable compared to all the coffee machines I have checked up to 200 and something euros.
Quite a quality construction and feel of materials, and a convenient size for the kitchen.
The only negative is the grid on the base, which is not cleaned so easily, because it is a single plastic with protrusions.
I had a United 1400w for 10 years. I have had this one for 2 days now. So far, it's super. Of course, there is no comparison, the old one was cheaper. It makes almost professional coffee and excellent froth. We'll see in the future???
