I received a different product. It is in white color and the button to remove the handle from the body is in the center and not on the side as shown in the photo. The brush has very stiff bristles resulting in more scratching than cleaning. I don't know if the product in the photo is better, the one I received is disappointing. For ... scratching (over the clothes) in case of itching on the back, it will do the job!!!!

Quite effective, positive that the handle is detachable. Fortunately, it does not come off on its own when I use it with the handle. Also, the bristles easily get tangled.
