  Unbelievable speaker for its price. Even the packaging left me speechless. Top-notch build quality (just look at the crossover and you'll understand). I had many speakers in my audio system (only for metal music) and much more expensive ones, but these outshined them all. I saw them in black color and fell in love with them, they are the most beautiful speakers I have ever seen. Their sound is warm, the bass is fast, tight, and punchy as it should be, without exaggerations or muddiness. The most "musical" speakers I have ever heard, you can listen to them for hours without getting tired. Combined with the speaker cables I have (Chord Company C-Screen), the result is heaven for my ears. Get them today while they are still available.

  I bought the speakers in the midst of quarantine without doing an audio test or listening to others, even though I wanted to. I relied on many reviews and also on the appearance - I fell in love with them from the moment I saw them. Before these, I had a pair of Crystal Audio speakers for €300 (around $2000). The music I usually play is rock and related genres from the 60s to today (so classic rock, hard rock, psychedelic rock, progressive rock, alternative rock, indie, Brit pop, folk rock, etc.), a bit of jazz and blues, a bit of trip-hop and electronic music. Very little classical/orchestral.

  The room setup is not ideal (but not terrible either) and the size is about 20 square meters of listening space in a room of about 40-45 square meters. Finally, they are driven by an Onkyo TX 8250, which is likely inferior to the circumstances now.

  Now, onto the details:

  + Aesthetically, they are simply beautiful and have amazing build quality. They have a good chance of making other furniture you have look "cheap" next to them.
  + They produce incredible detail in the tones of the instruments (mainly referring to strings). You can easily distinguish differences in guitars and bass, for example. It greatly helps that they have very good bass control, as they don't let it "muddy" the overall sound.
  + Decent soundstage, although as I mentioned, the room setup doesn't help. I'm sure with a better setup, it would be even better.
  + Extremely balanced sound without being cold. It doesn't have any exaggerations (too much bass or too much treble) and although it is quite analytical, it has a warm "tone" that makes you enjoy listening to music for hours.
  + Something I DID NOT expect was how well it plays electronic music. It is mind-blowing (to my ears) how well it can handle more electronic bass and beats. The room literally fills up without anything getting muffled.

  In conclusion, I can't know how they compare to other speakers in a similar price range, and I'm also sure I'm not hearing them at their maximum capabilities (due to the room and amplifier). Nevertheless, I know that I am extremely happy with what I hear and see, and I would easily recommend them to someone.

  Update after ~1 month of use: I changed the amplifier setting from 4Ω to 6Ω (which is correct for these speakers) and the improvement in how much more "focused" the sound is, as well as the improvement in soundstage, is shocking. And no, it's not just my imagination, the difference was clear from the first 4 seconds. I hadn't done it from the beginning because I thought the amplifier only supported 4Ω and 8Ω (not 6Ω), and from various reviews on the internet, everyone ended up with 4Ω.

  Update after ~1 year and having tried 2-3 amplifiers in between, ending up with the Sonneteer Alabaster, I now find it difficult to make any changes to the sound system in the near future. The setup is simply amazing and the feeling when listening to music is incredible. Yes, it's not the most analytical setup out there, but you can listen to music all day with so much feeling from the different tones and nuances. Truly highly recommended, just with the right amplifier.
