I have had it for 1 year now and I always have it in my bag for whatever I need. It is durable and doesn't show any signs of wear, but it can handle a lot of pressure. I have screwed with it antennas, UPS, switches, and even racks (which require a special screwdriver) and it has never let me down. The only negative is that it is difficult to find replacement tips for the screwdriver.
First of all, I will say that the price is very good and that's it. Now, a small analysis: it has a bit of a hard resistance, which means that when you go to use the chestnut mechanism, it basically doesn't engage and you just turn the screw in the opposite direction. It has a very nice texture in the hand, but maybe it slips with sweat (hasn't happened yet). The other very negative thing for me is that the magnet is very weak and doesn't hold the screws well enough. However, I return to my initial assessment that it is very good for its price
Nice but as others have said, the fact that you can't use the tips that all the other screwdrivers on the planet have is a big mistake.
It is really excellent! Very satisfied. Only one reservation about the tips.
In the positives:
1. Incredible feeling in the hand (weight & texture)
2. Very convenient case at the bottom and the choice of tips
3. Very strong magnet, lifts even screws unlike the Stanley STHT0-70885.
4. The ratchet works perfectly.
In the negatives:
It seems to me that Xiaomi is becoming "snobbish" and "exclusive" like Apple:
1. Only its own tips (the ones with two sides) can be adapted to the screwdriver, which means that when (not if) one of them gets slightly bent, you're in trouble... you can't replace it with one of your choice from the market. If you put a regular tip, it goes in too deep, barely protrudes, and then it's very difficult to remove it.
From the quality of construction, it looks okay, of course, time will tell how much it will withstand. I have my doubts about whether it will withstand a fall.
The axis doesn't play much compared to similar ones I've held, and it doesn't bother when you use it.
The magnetic tips hold the tips just fine and have a nice storage with a magnet. The 44-tooth ratchet is pretty good.
For its price (13-15 euros), I would say it is very good. I think to get something better, you have to reach 30-35 euros for a Milwaukee, Wera, or Williams.
Maybe on the slightly more expensive side, but you get what you pay for in terms of quality, both with the magnetic tips that come with it and the build quality. Also, magnetic tips are included, of course!
I was torn between this and the 4007GL. The reason this particular one was chosen is because it has double the tips compared to the 4007. It is of high quality construction with an excellent grip. The mechanism is of the "chestnut" type. Sturdy and according to Xiaomi's specs, it can withstand around 10Nm (approximately 10 kilograms of pressure). The bits are very convenient and magnetically charged. It doesn't have everything, of course. It exceeded my expectations beyond the basics. The only thing that bothered me is its size. I would have preferred it to be more portable. I would buy it again.
