I think it is underrated compared to other Zelda games, and that's a shame. I haven't finished it yet, but I'm somewhere around 30-something hours in, and I can say that I haven't been bored for a second. The controls, which many say are difficult, didn't bother me at all while playing it with a pro controller; if anything, it's easier to kill enemies than in other Zelda games. The graphics are of an older generation, but that doesn't bother me since there are no issues with fps. Finally, yes, the price could be lower; around 40 euros would be just fine. It was a pleasant surprise, though; I didn't expect it to keep my interest for so long.
I was late to buy it to tell the truth. I have played Zelda games from Nes-N64 and on switch BTW and Link's Awakening. The handling for me is very bad, especially in battles from the moment I don't play with motion. Like the camera. The graphics turned me back quite a bit and I can't say they excited me. For 30 euros, yes, it's okay to buy it, but for more, it's not worth it for me.
Excellent HD remaster. It was worth coming to the switch. It is worth playing either by veterans who want to play it again or by newcomers to the series. Hopefully, Windwaker and Twilight Princess will follow suit soon.
The price is 37 euros, at this price it's hard to say no, even for a Wii remake.
The handling is similar to the Wii, and I like that. It also has the option for non-motion controls, but if you don't like the motion control part, I wouldn't recommend this Legend of Zelda
Bad handling to the extent that makes the game unplayable. Essentially, there was no reason (other than customer pressure) to release this game in "hd"
Very good game with nice graphics even now. The story is nice with plenty of things to do. At 45€ it is very good
I love it. I was hoping for 2-3 years for it to come out for the Nintendo Switch. It has perfect gameplay, lots of things to do. The storyline is very nice and interesting. Interesting bosses and nice design. I highly recommend it, although my opinion may be influenced because it was the first game I played. And about 45 or more hours of gameplay if you do everything
The truth is, I don't believe it's worth the 50 euros I bought it for.. maybe I would have bought it for 40. I had read enough and knew what to expect, and unfortunately all the negatives I read were confirmed. Having played BOTW, I hoped some of the bad reviews were exaggerated but in the end they were true. The game is an OLD game with updated graphics so don't expect anything more. The controls didn't impress me, and the game's style is anything but Zelda since you don't have the ability to explore and discover new things. Everything is guided and it really loses a big part of its magic.
Great game, but it should be noted that I haven't played it before. It should maybe cost a little less because it's not a new game, but a remake with improvements. However, it's a nice game that every fan should have in their collection!
I come right after playing ZELDA BOTW, which is simply perfect, so I got disappointed!
Very average graphics, ugly controls. It looks old. When I play SKYWARD, I think of BOTW!
A mediocre and old game at a new AAA price.
This particular Zelda was a very mediocre game even in the years of the Wii.
It couldn't compare to Twilight Princess.
I don't know why they decided to remake it.
It had very bad graphics and it still does in the new version.
The controls were very frustrating, they tried to improve them but the result is not impressive.
There are much better games for this amount of money.
Stay away. It wasn't worth it then, and it's not worth it now.
This is very good. I had never played the original, so I had a lot of fun. However, I don't know if it's worth buying again for someone who already has the old one, probably depending on how much they loved this specific Zelda. The graphics are great, gameplay is perfect, maybe some parts are a bit repetitive (you go to each one twice), but personally, it didn't bother me.
5 out of 5 because I haven't enjoyed my gaming hours this much in a long time
The game becomes incredibly fun with the motion controls, so if you have the well-known joycon drifting issue, I would recommend taking care of it first before playing. Overall, it is a very good game with the classic dungeons and puzzles that characterize Zelda, however, because it is a remaster of an older game, I believe it should be a little cheaper.
Those who played the original on the Wii know what to expect, I am a fan of the series and I am writing this review with a dose of nostalgia. HOWEVER, for someone who will play it for the first time on the Switch, I have to say that it is not a modern game in the sense that the gameplay is a bit old-fashioned and despite the changes that have been made, its age still shows. I don't know if it will appeal to people who are not fans of the Legend of Zelda, but I am sure that anyone who wants to play it again will be satisfied.
