Well, let's talk about it.
On the positive side, the design, performance, and value for money construction are noteworthy.
Because in another comment I saw that someone changed the bulbs, at least mine uses LED and the lighting is very satisfactory.
On the negative side, the glass that opens—I would expect it to have gradations for where exactly you can stop it; it only has one point to stop, and that comes from the support shock absorber, with which you can't really play around much; it's relatively standard, resulting in the glass coming quite close to you.
For anyone who is concerned, they could make a makeshift stopper to find the right position.
It is very important to mention that those of you who have air-extraction hoods with those classic flexible aluminum pipes (spiral) should know that they create distortion and the pull of the hood decreases dramatically.
This time I installed a 150mm PVC pipe specifically for the hood.
If you want to choose to install a PVC drainage pipe, there isn't a 150mm one available on the market; at least I've looked, but the diameters are 160 and 140. And for me, I wouldn't recommend it.
Choose to take advantage of the entire range of 150 mm that is available to you for extraction; you will see a huge difference!
Recent purchase to replace a real "piece of junk" Multihome. I will start with its installation. With a little DIY knowledge, it takes about 30 minutes. It has a 150mm outlet but also comes with an adapter for 120mm. It comes with a full-size sheet indicating where to drill holes for its placement. Inside, where it connects to the wall pipe, there are small plastic flaps, but I removed them because from experience, they tend to stick and make noise. Soon, I will also add a carbon filter to the intake to keep the motor and fan cleaner. Let's move on to the practical part. Performance-wise, in a unified kitchen with a living room of 55 square meters (my kitchen is electric), I don't find any problems. It was tested in the best way... with broccoli... No smell inside the house during use. You don't need to lift the window to improve its performance... it creates a suction airflow that doesn't let any smell or steam escape. Also, for those who have unified spaces with a living room and a fireplace... The fireplace must be extinguished, otherwise... it will either go out or draw smoke inside. The lighting is very satisfactory. I don't consider the cost excessive for what it offers. It has a minimal design and does exactly what it was built for. Regarding the noise, I don't find it loud on the first and second settings, but on the third, you can feel it. Of course, it's logical since you're "maxing it out," but again, compared to what I had before, it sounds like a "whisper" to me. I highly recommend it. I will come back with more details and photos.
It has touch buttons and you only open it at the door... for gas it works very well, but I also put a pipe that it specifies because everyone uses a diameter of 60 while it requires a diameter of 120, from what I was told. Anyway, I recommend it without hesitation... and it cleans very quickly, there is glass in front, so definitely get it... I am fully satisfied for 1 month now and I emphasize with gas
