The orange light stays active for a longer time when it is off the base, unlike when it is hanging, where it only stays active for a few minutes.   Unfortunately, the motor is very loud. If you remove it from its base, everything is fine. However, if the baby has become accustomed to loud noises, like a vacuum cleaner mentioned in another comment, it is very likely that it will not bother them.
  The little clouds keep the baby occupied as they rotate. The light is very nice, but it turns off after a few minutes. The melodies are nice, and the white noise options are also nice. The option to start when the baby cries also considers joyful voices as crying most of the time.
  I decided to buy it despite the reviews, and unfortunately, with the same amount of money, I believe I could have found something that suited my needs.

However, I do not find it annoying if one considers how many times we put the child near the vacuum cleaner, which sounds a motor very loudly to sleep or relax. Of course, it is not as loud, no comparison, it is just audible, but it does not bother the baby. It has an option so that when the baby's crying is heard, it starts on its own. Also, it works independently of the cloud, so it can be moved to have these familiar melodies with the baby.
