Description

Theodoros Panagopoulos comes with new revelations and puts on "trial" all those who distorted the truth.

Who and why killed Kapodistrias? Was Kapodistrias truly a tyrant or a great figure who could have led Greece to the pinnacle of the glory it deserved? Why did Kolokotronis face the blatant hatred of the notables, and why was his son Pano, who would have succeeded him, murdered? Who was the Real Makrygiannis? Was he a pure hero or a man full of passions, hatreds, and envy? Who killed Karaiskakis? Who, and under whose orders, murdered Androutsos?

Former judge Th. Panagopoulos, in a virtual trial, renders unto Caesar what is Caesar's. A book that sheds ample light on the darkest aspects of the Revolution of '21, as well as the post-revolutionary period.

Review this product
  • Very good book that mentions things with a realistic description. For someone to read it, they should first have read The Fine Print of History written by the same author. As the only disadvantage, I could mention that it presents the events in the chronological order in which they occurred.
