The Ethernet extension cable has a gold-plated plug, high-quality aluminum cover, and protective copper jacket. It contains 8 Stranded Copper wires with an aluminum protective cover, better than copper-clad aluminum (CCA) wire. It complies with the Category 6 TIA / EIA 568-C.2 standard.

The protective clip guards the RJ45 plug against unwanted issues during cable routing. The Ethernet extension cable avoids the constant plugging and unplugging of the cable from a computer's network port.

It is used to connect UTP, FTP, and STP Cat 6 ethernet cable, also compatible with Cat 5, 5e cable. It can also be used with Cat 7 ethernet cable, while the transfer speed will be the standard cat 6 speed.
