In this edition, there is a thorough presentation and analysis of all Inspection and Control procedures of an electrical installation, according to the ELOT HD384 standard. All the prescribed measures from the legislation and the ELOT HD384 standard for protection against electric shock are mentioned. Methods for systematizing the Visual Inspection of an electrical installation are proposed, and the direct or indirect conclusions that may arise are highlighted. With the help of detailed diagrams and charts, alternative methodologies are presented in detail for the implementation of: - measurements for verifying the continuity of protective conductors and the main and supplementary equipotential bonding - measurement of the insulation resistance of supply lines - measurement of the fault loop impedance in the cases of `neutralization - TN` and `direct grounding - TT` systems - checking the operation of the Residual Current Device - measurement or approximate estimation of the grounding resistance Acceptable value limits are determined for each measured quantity, so that it is possible to evaluate the measurements and draw correct conclusions regarding the safety levels provided by the Electrical Installation. The structure of the new series of forms required to be completed for the documentation of the Low Voltage Electrical Installations Inspection is analyzed. Through detailed examples, the correct way of completing the new Electrician Installer's Declaration of Responsibility, the Electrical Installation Delivery Report, and the Inspection Protocols according to ELOT HD384 and K.E.H.E. is presented.
