The unlocking button is a bit loose, but it's not a cable that you connect and disconnect frequently, so you don't have to worry about it breaking. Other than that, it's an excellent cable, and it's a superior/convenient standard compared to HDMI (unless you also need to transmit audio). I bought it because my graphics card would sometimes disconnect with HDMI, and I was tired of dealing with audio output as well since my monitor doesn't have speakers.
