Second year of household use, I used to spend about 100-150 euros per year for carpet cleaning, so I decided to buy this product. It has 2 tanks of 5 liters each, one for clean water and one for dirty water. Empirically, each liter of clean water cleans 1.5-2 square meters of carpet. In 10 minutes, I have cleaned 8 square meters of carpet without much effort. The carpets are indoor and we don't wear shoes in the house, but the water that comes out of the vacuum is pitch black even though we vacuum twice a week. After use, there is a slight dampness on the surface and the bottom of the carpet, which takes about 3-4 hours to dry completely. This means that large carpets can be cleaned in place and be dry by the morning. The extension of the handle and the carpet nozzle were purchased separately as the packaging only includes the nozzle for sofas. As consumables, I have purchased the professional powder, which is 3 euros more expensive (17 euros) but provides double the doses (there is a measuring cup inside) and leaves a very nice scent on the carpet. Follow the instructions carefully and I believe you won't have any problems, at least for household use. The quality of the plastics and nozzles does not seem top-notch (corresponding to the purchase cost) but I have not encountered any issues so far. I have already recovered about 40% of the cost in 2 years without even cleaning the sofas yet.
Update:
I also cleaned the sofas, armchairs, mattresses, and the upholstery and floor of the car. I didn't expect so much dirtiness! In these cases, a relatively hard brush is required for thorough cleaning... We spray enough, scrub, and then vacuum. Cleaning the car is quite tiring, I would say...
I use it in a car wash, for 5-6 organic ones per month. In 11 months, the motor burned out and they replaced it because it was under warranty, after implying that it was due to improper use.
It has been 2 months since then, I am doing exactly what the dealership told me and today the motor burned out again.
Obviously, I will not approach this specific brand again!
Unacceptable quality. I use it for cleaning my car. Using it for 2 hours a day caused damage to the motor twice in one year. Every 6 months, there is a motor malfunction. The first time they replaced it because it was still under warranty, but the second time they did not replace it even though I spoke to the manager at the store. Unacceptable service for such a dealership. The motor inside is Chinese, even though I bought a German product that was supposed to be good quality. It turned out to be defective. Meanwhile, I bought an Italian product for half the price and if the motor breaks, it costs 40 euros compared to the 150 euros for a Karcher. Furthermore, once the warranty expired, they told me that I should have extended it for another year, but no one informed me about that. Simply unacceptable. It is supposed to be for professional use because it is gray in color.
Now, regarding the functionality, only the gun is ergonomic. Personally, I had trouble with the transportation. Every three minutes, I had to check if the bucket was full and empty it. Personally, I would stay away from it. I bought an Italian one with a capacity of 60 liters and I don't have to worry anymore. And if the motor breaks, it costs 40 euros. Although it is difficult because the water bucket does not have contact with the motor.
Edit after one year. As I mentioned above, Karcher told me that the motor was broken. Today, since I didn't have much work, I opened the motor and one of the bearings was destroyed. The bearings it has are made in the depths of China. I bought two Italian ones for 10 euros and I installed them, and it works perfectly. Neither the carbon brushes nor anything inside the motor was damaged. So, whoever has it and has some handy skills can fix it. However, I stopped using it immediately when I heard the noise change and saved the motor from further damage without affecting the impeller or internals. So, with just 10 euros, I cleaned. Not the 150 euros that Karcher asks for.
