First of all, I should say that I am not an expert. I haven't tried many coolers and this is my first water cooling system. The colors are nice but I didn't get it for that. In terms of noise, it makes a basic sound but I think it's a very typical computer noise. As for cooling, I use the processor a lot in my work and I have no issues at all. I think it's a very good purchase.
Setup:
- Corsair 4000D case
- AMD 5900X with the fan positioned to intake cold air from outside.
- Total of 4x120mm intake fans, 2x140mm exhaust fans
- Room temperature ~20 degrees
Temperature:
The performance is simply satisfactory. Similar to a good air cooler. This makes the performance/price ratio unacceptable.
- Idle: ~41C
- 100%: ~71C (Multicore Cinebench run)
Noise:
With the included fan, it has a moderate to quiet noise level under casual CPU load. In gaming, it has the classic volume that even a good fan would have. The fan is of the magnetic levitation type. You definitely have less noise than if you had 1 or 2 additional fans on an air cooler.
Installation:
Easier than Fisher Price for ages 0 to 1. However, you need to account for the gap provided by the case from the top of the motherboard to the top of the case. So you don't risk blocking the top fans by installing this cooler.
Appearance:
What you see in the picture. It connects via USB to the motherboard and is controlled with Corsair iCUE. The main reason someone would buy it is that if someone is interested in performance, they would go for AIO cooling with dual/triple fans.
It is perfect, worth the money 100%. I highly recommend it for medium and small boxes
It is perfect, it has very good cooling and nice RGB
