  Unfortunately, the toner is not compatible with the Samsung ML-2165 printer. Every time I tried to put it in the machine and print, it would give me a message to insert toner into the printer because it doesn't exist! And when I put the old one back, it worked again!!!! After a whole afternoon of searching online, I realized that the printer didn't recognize the chip on the new toner, which is different from the old one visually. I took the chip from the old toner, put it on the new one, and it works fine. Of course, every time I print, it gives me a message that the ink level is at 0% and needs replacement, but at least I saved the hassle of returning the product (packaging, shipping, etc.)
