Description

With stability and quick access, the Capture Clip Camera Clip v3 from Peak Design is a system for professional tools designed to withstand forces up to 200 pounds. The main component is a durable metal ring, which uses screw rings to tighten onto any strap or belt up to 2.5" wide and as thick as 0.87". It pairs with the Standard plate, which is an Arca-type compatible quick-release plate that slides onto the clip to lock movement in all four directions and features four loops for attaching optional Peak Design anchors.

The Capture v3 maintains a slim profile with a length of just 3.3" and a weight of 3 ounces, and all its parts are made to be weather-resistant aluminum that resists rust. The Clip is equipped with a quick-release button to immediately take out your camera and start shooting, and it has a safety lock that can be activated to prevent accidental release during longer trips. For increased stability, a non-slip pad is used on the back plate for grip. All older Peak Design plates work with the Capture v3 except for the Dual plate v1, allowing you to carry items such as lenses, binoculars, or GoPro cameras with optional accessories.

    The best gadget I have bought, its price has gone a bit overboard but it is the best available to have the camera always ready when walking with a backpack. It fits in all camera bags, I have 3-4 and quite large ones like Lowepro Protactic 450 AW II and it clips in perfectly. There is no downside to this capture except for its price, which I find very steep; at 50-60€ it would be "just right." Also, the plate fits with most accessories like tripods, gimbals, etc. Highly loved for anyone who travels and explores places on foot, for anyone who hikes it is absolutely essential, generally it is incredibly useful, you should buy it "yesterday." (No, I don’t get a commission or sponsorship; just something that is good and useful needs to be said.) The release happens in a fraction of a second, it also has a little lever like a pin, where turning it half a turn locks it and the camera does not come out no matter what. There is nothing else with such quality that I can trust a setup worth thousands of euros in my backpack. *It also comes for a belt with an adapter, but it is not as convenient; also for belts for photographers there are much better options that simply clip with a ball into a joint.

    The best thing and I use it all the time for trekking on the bags.
    I have 2! In one I have the Action Camera and in the other Mirrorless with a 70-200mm lens.

    Its price is usually around +/-90e. If you found it cheaper or used, get it, I'm jealous of you!
