We bought the scooter as a gift for my son when he turned 2. He is quite tall for a child, so the ones with a seat wouldn't last us more than 3 months. I should note that before settling on this model, we went and saw all the well-known scooters on the market. We chose this one because:
It had LED lights.
It turned easily.
It had a very nice design.
We didn't regret our choice for a minute, the little one is doing great from the first week, he loves it very much and learned how to turn immediately. He hasn't learned the brake yet, for now he stops with his foot.
The lights are very impressive at night. The build quality is worth the money you pay and it has a very nice system and a front stop that prevents the scooter from going forward and flipping over. I did not agree with anything in its purchase, they insisted on giving it to us.
We also have a similar BYOX, it looks impressive, but in terms of construction, it does not excel enough to justify its price.
For folding the handlebar and vice versa, it requires an Allen key.
Simply put, the scooter is advertised and marketed as Scoot & Ride Highwaykick, nothing more.
