In combination with the iPhone, it is easy to connect. It is done through the wifi network it creates. It reads many functions and shows live data. I made a mistake paying for the app (EOBD-Facile) because I found another free one (car scanner) that read and did even more. In combination with the Volvo S40 DII (D4164T), it connected perfectly, scanned and found a problem that was bothering me. After finding the problem in its encoded format, I disconnected from the wifi network (of the app) and connected to 4G to find on the internet what the code corresponds to. It does give you enough information depending on the app, but it's good to verify. So you can do checks, find if there are any problems, and turn off lights and notifications. Useful, therefore, and at a very good price to get reliable information and provide solutions.
Generally, the market for such cheap obd2 scanners is a gamble, it will work for some, it won't for others. What I would like to mention is that this particular one "claims" to be version 1.5 (using the application: ELM327 Identifier) which is considered a good version especially when it comes to such Chinese imitations of the ELM327, but in the end, it is version 2.1 which is a very problematic version and full of bugs. Therefore, personally, it did not work for me except for a few seconds in some cases.
It is excellent in diagnosing faults and erasing them from the memory of the brain. It is also user-friendly and connects immediately.
I received it and only the lights turn on, it was tested in 4 cars and it does not connect to the brain, maybe mine was defective.
I made a return
I have a clk 200, I put gas and the check light came on, so I bought it to see and clear the fault po 171 (the car is taking in air or there is a problem with the maf). After 3 months and 5 workshops where the people were going crazy, I discovered that it was blocking the brain, but always the next day when I used it and always cold, that's why it didn't occur to me.
Simply perfect. The Android radio I installed had the Bluetooth locked and I couldn't connect another one I had. I wanted Wi-Fi. It works great and I also have the Torque app (finally)!
It didn't work on either the Opel Zafira A of 1999 or the Ford Fiesta MkII of 2000.
Just like every other cheap blue ELM327.
Both couldn't connect to the car, and I tried all the available apps.
Waste of money!
External garbage, I bought two and none of them ever worked, they emit a signal for a few seconds at most a minute and then they don't revive again.
Along with this, it also suggested me 2 more on skroutz with Bluetooth but none of them work, and this specific one with wifi on torque does not connect to the brain, so it is useless
Guys, I'm trying to connect it and it doesn't connect to anything. I bought the program and still nothing. I tried it on three different cars and still it doesn't connect to anything.
Neutral opinion. I wanted to operate it with DDT4ALL, but unfortunately it was freezing and unable to communicate. Three stars, because it worked with its own software, but it didn't serve me. For those who want to operate it with ddt4all, it is not compatible.
It works perfectly with the iPhone, connected immediately and found the problem I had with the check engine light, as well as giving me the option to clear it. It reads everything, very good for its price.
It does what it says, connected very easily with my iPhone, worth its money. And it was delivered to me immediately, within one day
Quite good. Although it does not connect to the WiFi I have at home (maybe I did not configure something correctly) it performs accurate diagnoses. Very good value for money.
I don't know if I did something wrong, but in a car with a lit airbag light (Golf IV), it couldn't detect it as a fault. The main issue was that after disconnecting it, the car stalled! I disconnected the battery terminals and it started working again. I don't think I will use it again. If someone knows how it works, please let me know.
Connected to Volvo s40II, read the error and returned the error code. It was also able to clear the error from the indicator screen. Worked perfectly with torque pro
It does what it promises, i.e., connects to the ECU via wifi, reads parameters, statistics, reads and clears faults (try clearing the fault if the engine is not turned off). Anyone who expects ECU programming with a diagnostic tool for 10 euros... I don't know what to say, it's probably the same category of users who say that a laptop for 150 euros has no difference from one for 1000 euros and that they are fooled by bad companies. The only drawback is that the device (mobile, laptop, etc.) does not have internet connection once it is connected to the dummy wifi of the device, but obviously this is not a problem of the diagnostic tool.
First impression impeccable. Connected immediately with the iPhone (that was the reason I chose it. Because it supports iOS and the Car Scanner app).
It seems to measure and record live performance (0-100 km/h) etc.
Flawless obd 2 scanner, especially for its price. Don't bother downloading the app it has on the website via its QR code, buy a better one. For iOS, I have purchased the Car Scanner ELM OBD2 and it works perfectly.
On the job, in a 2004 Opel Vectra c model, with the car scanner program, it works properly, displays operational data, and clears faults.
With the torgue lite program, it couldn't connect.
I hope I helped those who want impressions and evaluation of the product before buying it.
It does the job, as long as you find the right application for your own car (not all of them work for all cars)
I have connected it to xiaomi redmi note 9 pro and to an android car screen and it works perfectly. Flawless.
In TOYOTA AVENSIS T250 MOD 2004 1600cc, the remote lock-unlock function gets blocked.
The same goes for Bluetooth, absolutely no problem.
Unfortunately, I was unable to connect it to my Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro phone. I tried everything, even with custom IP and ports, and what I found in solutions on Google, but without any result. I have the same version in Bluetooth and it works perfectly! I will try it later with a laptop, which I don't think will be an issue, I just don't want my phone to maintain a direct Wi-Fi connection with the device in order for it to work. I also tried it with Torque Pro and Car Scanner paid version.
Very good, it reads errors and faults of the engine, worth it for its price, very good and the app does a great job, well done!
The QR code on the packaging didn't lead me anywhere, but there are plenty of other ones in the store that do the job. Personally, the app I use is called car scanner and it has been quite helpful
Excellent little tool. It reads errors and erases them if you want! It also provides information about the car!
With its own software, it doesn't connect to anything. If you try 10-15 others, maybe you'll find something, but it's a lot of noise and hassle for a simple connection. Bad product.
It connects properly with the torque app on an mx5 NC as well as 2-3 VWs that I tried. The wifi option is excellent. Good purchase at a very good price. Besides real-time measurements, it also detects and clears any errors
It connects directly to Peugeot 207 Rallye (2011) and brings accurate results similar to the workshops I have visited using the "car scanner" application on Xiaomi mobile. It displays and clears the indicators instantly!
Very good for its price! It connects instantly with Car Scanner for iOS on a 2016 Suzuki Vitara, and it doesn't heat up at all! I haven't seen any error codes yet and what it can do, but as soon as I need it (hopefully not soon), I will update my review!
