The Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro is aimed at demanding computer users, such as gamers, professionals in video and image editing, designers, and those who require high performance from their computer.

DDR4

DDR4 is the fourth generation of RAM technology for computers. It replaces DDR3 and offers increased speeds and capacity.

It offers operating speeds from 2133MT/s to 4800MT/s, latency (CAS Latency) from CL 9 to CL 22, while its capacity has increased up to 32GB per memory module.

For speed (MT/s) and capacity (GB), the larger the size we choose, the better performance we will have in our system, while for latency (CL), we want the smallest size for the speed (MT/s) we have chosen.

The above characteristics should be compatible with the specifications of our motherboard.

The Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro provides a speed of 3600MT/s, with CL16 and 8GB per memory module.

Compatibility

DDR4 technology is compatible with specific motherboards and processors. Indicatively, DDR4 is compatible with Intel Skylake, Kaby Lake, Coffee Lake series processors and the latest Intel processors, as well as AMD Ryzen and Threadripper series processors.

However, for compatibility with your motherboard, you need to ensure that your motherboard supports DDR4 technology from the manufacturer. Compatibility depends on the processor platform and the type of motherboard you are using.

XMP & EXPO

XMP & EXPO is a technology that allows us to increase the frequency and performance of our computer's memory without the need for manual adjustments. (XMP/ EXPO) is easily activated from the BIOS, is available on certain RAM modules, and is supported by certain motherboards.

RGB Lighting

The RGB lighting in the Vengeance RGB Pro series has all the means and functions to create a unique and impressive look on your computer.

You can achieve this either through the software provided by the company, iCUE, or with compatibility in Sync Up software provided by motherboard companies. The advantage of Sync Up is that we can synchronize the RGB lighting of the entire computer.

The Vengeance RGB Pro is compatible with Asus Aura, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, and MSI Mystic Light software.

Cooling & Design

The aluminum heatsink material keeps the memory at a fairly low temperature even during the most demanding operations.

    The memory worked fine at XMP 3600 16-19-19-36 on the Gigabyte Aorus B550m pro-p motherboard, even though it was not on the manufacturer's list.

    Super fast and worth their money (100€) the best. They are made by Micron and are immediately timed at the specified frequency. Very beautiful with many customization options in their colors. Be careful of their height if you are using a large cooler and water cooling from above.

    Within 1 minute after their installation, I was already in Windows without any issues until the end of all tests. I wonder why this Corsair code isn't selling like hotcakes. Affordable at 3600Mhz and with such timings, I think it's a one-way street. Also, I should mention that for the first time, I will proceed with additional overclocking to see how far they can go. I will provide an update within the next 10 days.

    The memory modules are performing flawlessly, no issues at all. In the end, I didn't bother with additional overclocking because it froze. :D
