Prym's tailor's wax is available as a practical round plate in a transparent plastic two-piece case. It features three openings with holes on both sides. By pulling the thread through this groove, it is coated with a thin layer of wax, gaining flexibility and stability. Thus, the thread glides smoothly through the material and does not fray. Tailor's wax can also be used to release zippers or blocked drawers.
