A great kettle, it does its job, I have no complaints, I just hope it lasts me for a long time because usually they all break after a while
It makes noise and it is very hot on the outside, even the lid which you cannot touch if you want to add water for immediate next use.
Classic Philips kettle, honest, I have bought it two more times for friends, of course I don't know why but it keeps getting more expensive every now and then, last time I bought it for around 25€ 3 years ago, now it costs almost 40€. However, it still remains an excellent kettle!
As soon as my mother received it and I saw it up close, coming from previous brands like Petra and Bosch... there is no comparison with them, and I say this not only in terms of appearance but also in terms of the interior of the kettle where the issues lie. Firstly, it has a tube at the back, the base has a groove, and then the bottom is not uniform with the side, and we assume that salt will accumulate in that groove. Lastly, it narrows at the top, making it inconvenient to clean because my mother's hand barely fits... I think it heats the water normally, neither fast nor slow. I don't want to deduct another star, but these things are important to my mother. And finally, I shouldn't forget that she didn't like the base on which the kettle sits (I can't remember what was wrong with it). We hope it lasts at least a long time
It collects salt so quickly and I only boil it twice a day. It needs to be cleaned at least once a week, while with a briki kettle without a lid on top, which was for Greek coffee, it never needed anything, just rinsing. I would not recommend it to anyone.
It has a very large capacity for its power, so it takes a long time to boil water when it is filled with more than one liter.
It has a good filter for salts.
Quality stainless steel material.
It doesn't make much noise.
Good. It boils quite fast. Be careful to only hold it by the handle because the rest doesn't have insulation. That's all.
Relatively satisfied. It makes noise when heating the water. You can't say that it heats up quickly
It's not worth its money, it takes excessively long to boil water (it boils faster in a pot), it doesn't retain heat at all (it cools down immediately), and it makes excessive noise. And all of this compared to an old plastic izzy that melted but still does its job (why did I want to replace it?). The only good thing is its construction, but its functionality cancels everything out
The kettle is excellent. The presence of salts depends solely on the quality of the water. The harder the water, the more salts it contains. This particular kettle has a special removable filter against salts. We boil water at least 12-15 times a day. It is logical for it to accumulate salts faster, as the water is quite hard. In an older kettle, you could see the salts inside. If, despite this, it accumulates salts (inevitable), a few drops of white vinegar with a little water inside the kettle and leave it for half an hour to 1 hour... Rinse it and there will be no trace of salts.... That's it for now. If necessary, I will come back with updated observations.
