I bought it for €8.45 and got two devices.
One of them was connected to a 5.1 home cinema amplifier
and the other one to an old silver audio system from the 80s-90s that I found thrown away and refurbished.
Both of them came to life!!! I was able to connect my mobile phone, laptop, and projector via Bluetooth. It recognizes it as BT200, so if you search for it on Scroutz, you will find it a bit cheaper. It is the same device.
Now, onto the positives:
It revives old audio systems.
Easy recognition and connection.
No interference as long as you connect it with a 5V 1A charger.
I noticed that when I used a 2Ah charger, it seemed to get clogged and distort the sound.
It has buttons on the top for control (forward, backward, play, and pause).
It has good range. The connection doesn't break within 10 meters.
I didn't try NFC and I didn't attempt to connect it to a TV, so I have no opinion on that.
Now, onto the negatives...
It can only be connected simultaneously to one device.
Meaning, if you have it connected to your mobile phone and then want to connect it to another device, like a projector, you have to disconnect it from the mobile phone and then bring it into contact with the projector...
To possibly keep the cost low, it doesn't come with a charger in the packaging.
Unfortunately, it doesn't have a switch to turn it off, so you have to unplug it.
However, despite all these little issues I mentioned, I recommend it because you will enjoy upgrading your old audio systems.
Easy to install, but compared to other BT devices it has poor sound quality and significantly lower volume. It occasionally "pulls" the sound a bit as if it struggles with the connection, even though it is close and without obstacles. I wouldn't buy it again, but I will use it now for work.
UPDATE: After 2 days of use, I can say that it is not good at all. For example, let's say someone connects it to their laptop and a pair of speakers. Every time you restart or shut down the laptop, once it connects, it will be at full volume and make a very strange sound to notify you, which is annoying. I would recommend looking for other options.
Very easy installation. Very good sound, connected to LG 5.1. Tested on all device outputs.
One of my best purchases. An old LG home theater was converted to Bluetooth. I am completely satisfied
Excellent device, I had an older model with Bluetooth v.3. The 5.0 is far better in terms of audio quality. Very simple and fast connection. No need to constantly reconnect, just connect when you are within range. Connected to an old SANYO amplifier from 1978 and it plays very well. Great value for money.
It DOES NOT CONNECT to ANY laptop or PC or Smart TV only with tablets and mobile phones Cappuccino for its money
The first time I ordered, I received the Andowl, while the second time I received the BT200. In terms of material quality, the Andowl seems better. As for sound quality, personally, I didn't notice any difference. In conclusion, at this price range, which is up to 10 euros, it has very good audio transmission quality.
It does exactly what it says, no problem. The signal doesn't drop at all, there are no interruptions in the sound, and it provides a clean output without signal noise. However, it doesn't come with a power supply, so you will need an extra one to use it. Also, it doesn't have a switch, so it needs to be disconnected from the socket every time.
Connected to a 2005 audio system. And only with about 8E it connects via Bluetooth from the mobile and it didn't go lost. It does what it says.
It does its job just fine. There is a difference depending on which device it is connected to. Older devices have reduced volume, for example, I noticed a difference with the Huawei p30 lite. Any differences are in volume and not in sound quality. It works well with 5.1 surround sound. The important thing is that it has cables with 3.5mm jack to RCA and 3.5mm jack, it requires a mobile charger with USB. Easy to manage, and at one-third of the average price for similar devices.
Purchase date 15/1/23.
I bought it to connect wireless 2.1 speakers to my mobile phone. It worked fine with my redmi 10.
With two other older smartphones (redmi6, redmi4x), the volume was very low, about 30%. Maybe it has to do with the Bluetooth version of each device, I don't know.
The sound quality was lower compared to using a cable on all three devices.
It does its job, but if I had known, I would have gone for something better
It works with mobile phones, etc., but not with the Philips TV for which it was purchased. It has a strange icon that I have never seen before, and the TV does not recognize it as an audio device, so it does not acknowledge it. It works fine with a mobile phone
No charger included but this can be solved by connecting it to an old mobile charger or any charger with 5V and not higher.
The sound is more than fine. I didn't have high expectations anyway since my old 5.1 system "came back to life" and I can control it from my mobile or tablet.
The only "issue" I encountered was that the cable provided is RCA to jack (3.5mm) while my 5.1 system doesn't have a 3.5mm audio in. This was easily solved by using an old RCA to RCA cable.
It's great for its price, it does the job. How long will it last? I don't know...
I have had it for about two months, I have connected it to my home stereo and I can say that I am very satisfied!!!
NO, it does not have the same quality..!!!
I compared it to a relatively new model of mini hifi that has built-in BT, and the Andowl falls short! I would describe the sound as more closed off and the bass is harsh and lacks range.. However, this does not mean that the quality is unacceptable for the average user! Definitely, for what it does - conversion and the sound quality it offers, it is worth every last cent at the price I got it (7 euros).
As a negative point, I should mention that when playing from the USB, there is no option to fast forward the track, and the device does not have an on-off switch
Plays with excellent quality..
Incompatibility with Google Nest hub is inexplicable... if someone knows, please enlighten us..
Excellent device, especially considering the price.
In my case, there is a very low-intensity buzz, which is probably due to the charger.
There is a strange incompatibility with the Google Nest Hub which cannot see it. It is very strange, as all my other devices connect normally to this Bluetooth receiver, while the Google Nest Hub connects to all my other Bluetooth speakers. Only between them they cannot see each other!
ok so far, it does its job just fine for its price. The connection is only with one device, so you have to disconnect to connect another one.
Connects flawlessly the device you want with the amplifier, delivers the sound excellently, small and discreet in size! Very good purchase!
Quite easy to connect and with both RCA and jack connections.
Just only one device can be connected, in order to connect another one, the first one needs to be disconnected.
For the price, it is very good and honest
Very good. It does exactly what it says. No disconnections and very good sound quality. I would like it to have an on-off button, but with a patent on the cable, I added a switch from a portable speaker.
I don't know about the others who bought it, but it didn't have a USB port to plug in the cable that came with the package in order to work, so you will need a charger to connect its cable and provide power for it to function.
Also, I haven't found a button yet to turn off its operation, so you have to unplug it from the socket.
Another downside is that if the stereo is at a high volume, when it is connected to the Bluetooth device we want, there is a loud and annoying noise.
Other than that, it is affordable and of course, it brings old stereos back to life that were sitting in storage or simply inactive.
Maybe I would buy it again if I find another one with a slightly higher price that includes an adapter where the USB cable can be plugged in for charging, but also stops functioning when it is left without communicating with any device after a certain period of time.
It was purchased for a vacation home to connect an amplifier with a mobile phone, but the power cable did not fit smoothly, resulting in the receiver breaking and becoming unusable. It cannot be fixed, but otherwise it does what it promises.
Awesome device. It automatically connected to my iPhone and turned my old home audio system into a smart device. The sound quality is impeccable!

It is the BT200 that is available as a type 2 euros cheaper. The NFC does not activate at all.

For the money, it's fine but it falls short in sound quality.
Verified purchase
Honest, it's a small amount and if it breaks you get another one
