Amazing watch for fans of the AP Royal Oak, Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711, or even the IWC Ingenieur but without the "shipping magnate" background to buy them. In my opinion, in this specific case, the Quartz version is superior to the Powermatic 80 (Automatic) due to the plastic parts hidden in the automatic, and at every service (frequency 3+ years) it forces the specialist to change the entire movement, which in the underground economy of Greece costs quite a bit in time and money. If I were forced to mention a negative point, it would be the two rigid first links of the strap with the case. This rigidity creates a gap between the strap and the wrist, and a lug-to-lug length of ~51mm, which some may not like.

Excellent, much more beautiful up close! I got the Quarrz with the black dial, which in reality is not completely black, but has some very nice "waves" inside. Clean dial, you can see the time very clearly. Excellent bracelet, sturdy, gives the retro style that stands out and personally I really like it! The ETA mechanism is precise. In my watch, it loses 2-3 seconds per month.

Awesome watch. On the wrist, it looks even better than in the photos. Due to the brushed finish, it is a bit vulnerable to scratches. Definitely worth its money though.

I preferred the quartz as it is more economical, more faithful to the 1980 seastar which is its inspiration, and does not differ in quality of finishing from the automatic. (The only practical difference between them is the waffle dial and the powermatic 80 mechanism)
It is an excellent everyday watch for someone who wants to try the retro style reminiscent of classic steel sports watches from the 1970s-1980s.Update 2023
The watch is very convenient for every occasion, I wear it from the beach to the workplace. Compatible leather and rubber straps have been released that completely change its style. There is now also a 35mm version for smaller wrists as well as many more dial colors.
