I ordered 2 in the same color, they arrived in a different color. One didn't work from the start, the other stopped working the next day. It's fun! The buttons are of course on-off, meaning you press "forward" - full throttle, press "backward" - full reverse. Press left or right and the steering goes full in that direction. It's not progressive like some old, good NIKKO I remember. However, compared to some cheap toys from well-known big chains, it seems to have better construction. We'll see about durability over time. Also, it's good to use rechargeable AAA batteries, it needs 5.
