The α1 offers a combination of high resolution and high speed. The 50.1 MP sensor provides continuous burst shooting at up to 30 fps with AF and AE tracking from the electronic shutter. Ideal for sports and any situation where action needs to be captured in a click.
The new image sensor and BIONZ XR system of the α1 offer 8K 30p video recording for incredible realism. 4K resolution by 4, with full functionality Real-time Tracking and Real-time Eye AF. Additionally, 8K recordings provide ideal editing flexibility in 4K.
The α1 supports 4K movie recording at a frame rate of 120 fps, for smooth, artistic slow-motion playback up to 5x. The new image sensor and BIONZ XR system minimize image distortion. The impressive image quality is a product of the 10-bit 4:2:2 color sampling system combined with Long-GOP or Intra (All-I) compression.
