  Excellent speaker for the money, extreme vfm. Against JBL Charge 5, it outperforms it in volume and sound quality at high volume (while being half the price).

  The only annoyances: the on/off sounds, the unknown battery level, and the different volume levels between devices (e.g., phone) and speaker.

  I would suggest:
  - At low to medium volume (0-80% volume), keep the speaker in the first mode (the one it’s in when it turns on)
  - At high volume (80-100% volume), switch to the second mode (with a double press of the "M" button) to "unclog" it and make the sound clearer

  (The volume percentages refer to the common volume, e.g., speaker at max volume and phone at 80%)

  Impressive speaker. High-quality construction, clear sound, very powerful volume, and the battery life seems very good from the little I've used it, usually at a volume lower than 50%. If I use it at a party and remember, I will update the review.

  The bass is objectively very good, you can't say it lacks or is mediocre in any way. It comfortably covers the needs for music genres that require it (hip-hop, techno). Perhaps the most demanding bass enthusiasts would want an extra 10-15% to call it perfect.

  Easily suitable for parties with 15 people, both indoors and outdoors.

  At maximum volume, it doesn't distort the sound, but personally, I would like the treble to be slightly cut at the maximum. You can easily do this with the neutralizer app, which works for Bluetooth devices. The equalizers that the speaker has significantly alter the sound and are completely useless. If something is not right with the sound, check if one of the two equalizer profiles is active.

  I hope there won't be any issues because Bormann is not specialized in audio devices, and I assume the warranty process might take some time.

  The only issue I have is that on my phone at least (Android 11), I couldn't find anywhere how to check the battery levels. I tried 3-4 apps, but none of them showed it. I also mentioned it in the questions section in case I'm missing something.

  In conclusion: there's nothing to think about, the speaker is fantastic, and its price is very competitive. Top value, unbeatable value for money.

  I was amazed when I bought it for about 80€, I felt like I was stealing from a church.
  First impressions: Quality construction, clean sound with good bass and a fairly strong volume. I don't have an opinion on the battery life yet.
  If I see something negative, I will come back and mention it.

  When I received it, I was impressed and very satisfied with its performance, always in relation to the cost. However, one day (after 2 months of use with about 4 hours of listening per week), while it was playing, it shut down without me being sure if it ran out of battery or simply didn't charge again. I contacted the service and sent it at my own expense, 8.90€, even though it was still under warranty, just to be told in the end that it cannot be repaired (they also said they would send it for recycling, meaning free replacement parts). Then they told me to contact the store where I bought it to be compensated. In conclusion, the store no longer sells speakers and they tell me to buy something else... obviously there will be a commotion on Monday when the company opens!!! If it is not replaced, I consider that I threw away 70€ in the trash!

  I am the owner of a JBL Charge 3, which is my super portable for nice clean sound with the ideal portability, as well as the JBL PartyBox 310 for powerful sound, which, however, is a beast and requires a car to transport and generally requires a process to take it with you, for example, on vacation. I wanted something in between that I could take with a small car or motorcycle and I was looking at the JBL Xtreme 2 or 3, but when I saw the price, I skipped it. I already spent 500+ euros for the PartyBox, so I started looking for something else from another company and came across this and decided to risk it for 69 euros, no big deal. Well, I put it next to the JBL Charge 3 and the sound is superior while the cost is half the price. I am not yet able to say how clear the sound is and if the bass is amazing, but for 69 euros, it is a very honest speaker and I will prefer it over the JBL Charge 3. I am thinking of getting a second one to connect them and with a total of 140 euros, I will have a stereo and powerful sound. With this cost, I don't think you can easily match this sound. I am convinced that it will be a super choice. I will come back...
