It may be a size that doesn't fit some people or it may be too big for others. The truth is that it is a bit wide for me as well. However, the silicone hasn't come off, it has relieved my pain, and it keeps my finger in the right position. Personally, I have used it with wide shoes and it was fine, but not for long walks. Also, as a splint and like all splints, from what I have learned from a doctor, they simply delay the worsening, they don't cure it.

The inner silicone came off after a few uses, and for me, who wears size 44, it came up short. It doesn't reach below the toes like in the photo, under no circumstances.

The material is slippery, it doesn't stay neither inside the sock nor inside the shoe.
