If you don't have high demands, it will do the job for you. Just the cards in this series (SOLO and DUO) are trash. Poor signal-to-noise ratio, and many other issues with Hi-Fi audio recording. I have two solo and two duo. But I also have the old one (with metal shielding, not in a plastic box like these), the legendary PROFIRE 610 from M-Audio. No comparison, night and day. I wonder how some people give it 5*. They probably listen on small computer speakers.
