One of the best cameras I have installed.
Nice wide-angle image, quite sensitive in low light to record without using IR, just with 1-2 street lamps, but also quite satisfactory IR to record perfectly in normal night mode if we want.
Very good and clear microphone without annoying noise from interference, while its speaker works very loudly like a siren if we want, although it doesn't win any volume awards when we use it to talk to someone.
Extremely convenient and practical is the turret-type design, the camera doesn't protrude much like a pole from the wall, it has a relatively small size and can be placed in indoor spaces, it doesn't move even half a millimeter even with 30 Beaufort if left outside, while the biggest advantage is that due to the curvature of the lens in front and because no unnecessary and useless piece of plastic protrudes around, spiders and other insects don't roam around or make their home there, so it doesn't need constant cleaning.
The white LED spotlight doesn't have a continuous use mode but only flashes (if we want to set it that way) when it detects some movement or if we activate it through the app.
It doesn't support POE but the "problem" is solved (as with all other cameras) with the use of a Passive POE injector at an additional cost of 4-5 euros at most.
The cherry on top of the pleasant surprises is that because it is a relatively old model, from when Imou (or Dahua) was still targeting regular consumers and not clueless Android users, the camera has a normal page that opens from the browser with its IP with dozens of settings that you will never find through the locked and limited capabilities of the app, so someone can do complete customization and tailor it to their needs.
It also works perfectly with the smartPSS program for Windows as well as with Imou's NVR recorders.
The video is 1080p, 25fps, H.265 up to 4096Kpbs, and roughly for 24 hours of continuous recording, it needs about 20-22GB of space, so consider the appropriate SD card along with the camera purchase.
Not only would I buy it again, but this is the main camera I recommend to anyone who asks me.
Compared to Xiaomi magnetic, the construction is much better and so far its WiFi does not lose connection with the router. Xiaomi needed to be restarted every day. Also, the imou has a nice application
