  • Where to start .. the machine is clearly for amateurs. Firstly, the issue with the oil that you have to lubricate the chain, by hand please. And secondly, the batteries are small ... they should be at least 6ah, to have enough autonomy and always keep in mind to have the second one ready. As for the chain that doesn't tighten .. I'm really sorry. And I say it's for amateurs because some of us have fields and the car is not always next to you to charge batteries.

The biggest failure of Stihl! Exclusively for amateur use! It is not suitable for professional use and pruning olive trees! It is good for any small branch in the garden, but that's about it! The main disadvantage is that it does not have automatic lubrication and you have to manually drip oil on the chain every now and then! This alone shows that the tool has very limited use! Its battery is so small that you can't take it with you to the field, even with two batteries it doesn't last for more than 3 hours! The chain comes off easily and there is no way to tighten or loosen it! The only positive thing is its build quality and satisfactory cutting power! It truly is a tool that Stihl should be ashamed of, considering it is considered the top woodworking company! It is not worth the price and its use, it's a waste of money! Even if it was a gift, I hardly ever use it, I have bought a much better Total!

The tool simply breaks its money, it supports it with the above, now in the field the battery does not last long but I have a solution for that, I have two batteries and I have also bought a 12v to 220v inverter and when one battery runs out, I connect the charged one and charge the empty one, so I am in the field all day non-stop!

I recently purchased this product with the purpose of mainly cutting branches (up to +10cm) of trees and its performance is at least impressive. The cutting is very easy and clean. The grip is correct. Its quality is exceptional. Maintenance and cleaning are very easy. Its battery is relatively small, but it can be fully charged in half an hour (from almost completely empty to full charge). And something important about the battery... It operates with the same power until it runs out, just like when it is fully charged. My overall impression (although I didn't expect it) is excellent. I will get a second battery just in case, but so far I haven't needed it.

Small and lightweight, easy to use and powerful. It can easily cut trunks and branches with a diameter of up to 10 centimeters (or even larger, with a little technique). It is ideal for amateur gardening and estate work. Its battery is sufficient for 50-60 cuts of 10 cm, which means that autonomy is not its strong characteristic, but it is a chainsaw, not a coffee mixer... The battery charges in a maximum of two hours. The chain tensioning is easily done when it loosens, so it is not a particular problem.
It is worth buying the kit with an extra battery - chain - oil, with two fully charged batteries, you won't get stuck anywhere. Quality-wise, I have nothing to say, it is Stihl and that says it all.
It saved my hands, instead of using the gasoline-powered one (gasoline, oils, noise, etc.) for small tasks, I clean with the small one.
It is worth the money, even though it may seem expensive.

Bought 2 years ago for the price of €169. Long before the Chinese ones of €50 came out. The negatives are the battery that is useless, it does not have a chain regulator, and basically its price. For small talk and for playing and wasting money, definitely not recommended. Get something powered by electricity or regular gasoline for home use. Fan of Stihl....but a joke.

Typical made in Germany Stihl quality. Very fast start-up and quick cutting with minimal vibrations. However, its small voltage and battery capacity significantly limit its use. And despite the fact that the name Stihl refers to "powerful" machines, it is more suitable for light tasks and requires caution when cutting branches (up to 5-6 cm in diameter vertically and without pressure). If you want to work a "full shift," you definitely need three (probably four) fully charged batteries. And (even more so with these specifications) it is quite expensive. There are brands on the market with great reliability and relatively similar products at almost half the price. The biggest drawback is the small battery.

Lightweight, high-quality, cuts quickly, but it should have had a larger battery. Having a second battery was a must for me. The chain loosens after a short period of use, resulting in the blade coming off relatively easily. However, if you make careful vertical cuts, there is no issue. If the company improves the aforementioned points, it will be a top-notch battery-powered chainsaw

For olive pruning, it simply doesn't work!! The battery is non-existent and you have to have a second and third one!! The chain comes off relatively easily!! There is no possibility for tightening!! It cuts like a razor!!

Very good and sturdy machine for its price. It is the best for small jobs because it is lightweight, but someone should not buy it with the intention of cutting firewood. Its battery follows the logic of being small and portable and it drains relatively quickly, so it is good to have a second one.

My personal opinion, I did not like it very much.. the chain started to loosen after not many uses and you can't tighten it, resulting in it easily coming off. Also, its battery is very small and runs out very quickly.. and for such a small battery, it is expensive!

Waste of money. Due to battery. I bought it for pruning, it claims 80 cuts but it doesn't even do 30.
