The pencil is generally flawless aesthetically and functionally, but somewhat overpriced. In my case, the negative aspect was that the internal mechanism broke on the first drop, and there is no possibility to "fix it yourself". Fortunately, rotring has excellent after-sales service (through the also excellent Sixtis) and replaced it for me, free of charge. However, because the replacement is done through France, it took about 1.5 months. If it hadn't been for the unfortunate incident and if it were more durable, I would give it a 5/5.
