Unfortunately, it helps minimally where conditions exist for new rust to form.It is a very useful "tool" that anyone can use without special knowledge and possibly find a solution to their problem. It is not space-age technology, it does not work miracles, it is not the only product in this category, and it is very expensive compared to similar products that offer the same. I have tried a similar product from another manufacturer, cheaper and with the same results. I am sure that there are many other products out there, some may not be as good, some may be just as good, and maybe some are even better.
