Description
The conscious perception of the information captured by our senses can make us "smarter" and deeper thinkers, making the path to self-knowledge easier. The first section of this book introduces the foundations of this research, as one cannot speak about Art without first defining the concepts of "Society" and "Communication", as well as the term "Human", which is the one that constitutes a society and communicates. The use of "Language", although it is a necessary tool for communication among people, is in crisis due to the distortion of the meanings of words, creating conflicts among people. These findings are highlighted in this section, while also providing solutions to address these crises. The second section presents the Code of Visual Communication, as accepted internationally by the scientific and artistic community, using several examples for better understanding. These examples are also applied to Greek Art in various forms, so that the reader can connect this Code with what is familiar to them, realizing their true values. The third section investigates the use of the Code of Visual Communication in order to convey subconscious messages to viewers, through Television, Cinema, Animated series, Advertising, Clothing or Hairstyling, and other media. However, of course, knowledge of this Code can help people understand and judge all kinds of art, for which some examples are also provided in this field.

Excellent book. It broadens the mind and makes you realize how much you know without being aware of it. Ideal for those who want to "stimulate" their minds and solve many "whys".
