I am surprised by the positive reviews, perhaps apart from the price for the outputs it provides (DP+HDMI). Aside from that, it is an ultra-budget monitor with only 60 Hz, the same as the first TFT monitors from 20 years ago.
The build quality and quality control are tragic, and it is a no-go choice for dual monitor setups. Both monitors that were purchased together broke. One at 6 months and the other at 9 months. The same problem occurred in both, with lines flickering from the bottom quarter of the screen and a general flicker across the entire screen, unbearable.
Even worse is the huge delay in accepting the defect from the supplier.
Over 1 month and both times it was back and forth. Almost 3 weeks to recognize the problem and then another week to send it back to the store. Practically 30-40 days without a monitor both times. I rule out any delay from the store because with other purchases/returns they were prompt.
Even if I had sent it to the depths of China where it is produced, I would have received it back faster. In the meantime, even if I was unlucky and got a defective batch, they should have recognized it immediately the second time at least from the part numbers and the history.
Meanwhile, they advertised it as a model with a 0 pixel guarantee, a significant reason that promises reliability for me to choose it.
Theoretically, it is a budget monitor with 2 basic modern outputs, DP and HDMI, with thin bezels and a minimal design.
However, it is delicate in build quality, it creaks when you touch it and feels fragile. The plastics are of small thickness and strength, like from a cheap toy store with cringe-worthy advertisements.
Additionally, the stand is frankly ridiculous and wobbles like a seesaw at the slightest touch. It has a small tilt capability which is welcome but tricky to achieve the desired angle.
Getting two monitors side by side to have the exact same tilt is difficult! Finally, the monitor itself sits unusually further in compared to the bezels from the competition. Like a Casio watch from the 80s, but without the durability. So for dual monitor setups, it DOES NOT work! The thin bezels are pointless.
