Could the great opera primadonna Maria Callas ever have a daughter who grew up in Serres, adopted by a middle-class family but with her own unique set of values?

Luigi Pirandello, defining the way in which each audience chooses to confront reality, states that "it is so if you think it is". Perhaps because he sensed that lies, as they were called then, or fake news, as we call them today, have more power than the truth.

Just like the story about Callas' daughter, published in the Serres newspaper Prwto Fws by two close friends: Penelope, the main character of the novel, and Athena, the newspaper's publisher and journalist.
