Thermophilic broadleaf species with satisfactory shade tolerance that prefers light, well-drained soils. Its use is mainly decorative due to its delicate foliage. It may not need mowing, but with one or two mowings a year, it creates a denser carpet. It requires high temperatures and sufficient moisture for germination.
