Description

The sense of injustice wounds the psyche. It destroys the desire for life, for joy, for meeting others. It erects a castle to protect, but ultimately imprisons the existence. The agony of vindication and the bitterness from "injustice" lead capable people to become trapped in the event that hurt them, depriving them of happiness and freedom. The constant preoccupation with the injustice they experienced makes them withdraw into themselves, lose interest in life, and ultimately leads to depression.

The injustice that wounds, traces back to the painful experiences of childhood. It seeks the terms and conditions that produce it in the family environment. It records the expectations for its elimination, as well as the painful disappointments in relationships. It processes its appearance in the workplace. However, it highlights the possibility that the fate of a person does not have to be wounded by their traumas, as such would be defined as a fatal surrender to depression.

Through this book, the renowned psychotherapist introduces us to the deeper causes of depression as a result of the sense of injustice. Traumas from the past, thwarted expectations, and disappointments from people create the framework that stifles existence and removes the right to authentic joy.

He leads us to the knowledge and understanding of the causes of the sense of injustice. It is the optimistic view of liberation, where forgiveness is not a moral imperative but a capability that leads to the attainment of freedom through the admirable transcendence of the burdens of the past.

Quite interesting, somewhat introductory, suitable for someone who is just starting to read popular psychology and self-help books.

It is very easy to read, understandable, and genuine. It is my first book from this author. I will definitely prefer the rest.
