The Loctite 243 is a general-purpose thread locker for medium-strength bonding. This thread locker secures and seals bolts, screws, and nuts, preventing them from loosening due to vibrations. The product is effective on all metals, including passive substrates such as stainless steel, aluminum, and plated surfaces. Proven to be resistant to minor contamination from industrial oils, e.g., engine oils, corrosion protection oils, and cutting fluids.
