    Update: In an effectiveness test, the 3M 9542 achieved 99.92% effectiveness on a TSI machine at a mask factory in America. The high effectiveness combined with the perfect fit would comfortably classify it as FFP3 in Europe.

    After the 3M Aura, these are the best protective masks in terms of effectiveness and fit, with an excellent nosepiece. They fit behind the head and contain an activated carbon filter. They have GB2626-2019 (KN95), LA, and CNAS certification. The American CDC tested 10 samples of the 3M 9542, which reached a ceiling in effectiveness, from 99.73% to 99.87%:
