For my own requirements, the product is excellent! I could write its positives and negatives, but it is the only product that I could list what it has and what it would like to have. My rating is 5 stars, unbeatable after 2 weeks of use, so we have the following:
POSITIVES:
1. Heavy and sturdy construction. Nothing cheap that wouldn't justify its price, which is equivalent to what you will set up compared to other more expensive turntables.
2. Solid switches, direct and with impeccable feedback.
3. The pre-installed needle plays great at all frequencies, as long as it is properly set at 2gr (as stated by the manufacturer).
4. It is easy to set up and takes no more than 10 minutes.
5. The antiskating works great, regardless of what I have read on various forums. A specific 45rpm record from my collection that constantly skipped on two turntables (without antiskating) performed wonderfully on the AT.
6. Bluetooth connects instantly to devices, but BE CAREFUL with devices that have two different MAC addresses for pairing with the right and left earbuds, like (e.g. Creative Outlier). As for devices that have a unique MAC address for pairing with stereo, it will work great... otherwise, the AT won't be able to pair them.
7. PHONO and LINE IN options. For those who have a power amplifier or a simple AUX system.
WHAT I WOULD LIKE IT TO HAVE:
1. I would like it to have a volume control knob for the sound on Bluetooth. Unfortunately, it is weak on headphones and speakers, and this accounts for about 60%-70% of their performance. Not bad, but I would like more volume on my speakers and headphones.
2. It is fully manual! For those who want auto reverse and for the tonearm to return to the resting position after playing the record... they will have to look for something in semi-automatic or full automatic... But not in this one.
Overall, it is worth the money and more. It is a VFM replica of the glorious MKII and it performs very well. It has its own character but doesn't disappoint in terms of performance and functions. It is a full manual turntable, just like the MKII, which may bother some and not others. I declare myself satisfied with its appearance, functions, and sound. I knew beforehand what I would receive and I am quite pleased with the result.
