Ok it's fine but not really impressive. It's not an axe but something between heavy, wedge, and axe.
Don't expect to hit the log and split it like butter because it's much wider than a regular axe.
There are some small dry wedges, 50x30, without knots that split easily. But it's rare.
I used it on difficult thick logs, 70x35 pine, and it worked well.
In the end, I use it like this.
I hit one wedge firmly into the log's joint and then hit it with another heavy one on the back flat side until the log splits. Always on another wide and stable log.
I also see it as a workout so I didn't mind that it didn't match what many describe in reality.
PS: Safety glasses are definitely necessary during use.

What others mentioned, it cuts easily, for the money I believe it's worth it.
*I gave 4 stars because the only experience I had with axes was with the old - classic ones - so compared to those it does the job, but compared to a more expensive or specialized one, it may fall short.

Very good, it easily splits wood without much force. Be careful not to sit on the right or left because the wood flies out forcefully.

Very good and economical. Its increased weight is perfect for larger diameter logs! I highly recommend it for anyone who wants a heavy splitting axe!
